Robin is a 16 year old girl from Kingston who suffers from kidney disease and requires dialysis at least 2 -3 times per week. She is a die-hard "Dog" the Bounty Hunter fan. She watches each episode and has his website on her internet favourites. Celebrity wishes are the hardest to plan for, but Robin never gave up on her dream to meet him.

After a year, her wish came true when she was notified that "Dog" was willing to meet with her at his office in Hawaii. With the help of Robin’s Social Worker in Kingston who scheduled all of Robin’s dialysis treatments, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern Ontario flew Robin and her grandmother to Honolulu to meet "Dog". Robin was completely awe struck and became somewhat tongue-tied when she first arrived at his office but by the end of the visit, they exchanged contact information and formed a friendship for life.

While in Hawaii, Robin was able to see some of the sights that this beautiful island has to offer. Robin’s grandmother expressed her gratitude: "Robin is so happy she met "the Dog". She is still in heaven over it all and I thank you very much for making her wish come true! You are the angels amongst us!"
